Continuous FMLA Leave

Continuous FMLA leave is taken in one block and is generally required when employees experience acute mental health conditions needing full-time recovery or inpatient treatment. This may apply to severe cases of depression, anxiety disorders, or conditions requiring a stay at a treatment center.

“Dr. Sally Sartin immediately put my mind at ease and made me feel comfortable speaking freely about my condition. She asks all the right questions and projected confidence in her ability to assist me. Thank you Dr. Sartin!”

Steve M.

Savannah T.

"Dr. Aaron Sartin is extremely knowledgeable and concerned about my health situation. He patiently listened to my concerns and offered practical treatment plan, he understands patient’s perspective. He looked at my medical history and explained my options. Promptly filled out my paperwork. I am very grateful and fortunate to have found him in time."

Intermittent Leave

With intermittent leave, employees can take time off in chunks of time to accommodate occasional periods of incapacity due to ongoing treatment or fluctuating symptoms. For instance, an employee with severe anxiety may require intermittent leave for medical appointments, therapy sessions, or follow-up care to manage their mental health effectively.

Reduced Schedule Leave

Reduced schedule leave allows employees to temporarily reduce their working hours. This could be beneficial for employees needing a lighter workload during their recovery, especially if they have recently completed inpatient treatment and require a comprehensive treatment plan to re-enter the workforce gradually.

Kimberly R., Short-Term Disability Patient

"Dr. Sartin was very understanding and compassionate regarding my personal situation. He went above and beyond to assist with completing my fmla paperwork, which shows that he truly cares about his patients. Our visit lasted over 30 minutes, and he took the time to listen to me without rushing. I felt guided in the right direction, and really appreciated his thoughtful approach and understanding. Thank you Dr. Sartin, you’re the best!!"

Short Term Disability Service

Short-term disability (STD) service provides employees with temporary financial support when they are unable to work due to a non-work-related illness, injury, or medical condition, including recovery from surgery or the treatment of a serious health issue. This service typically offers a percentage of the employee’s regular salary for a specified period, allowing them to focus on healing without the added stress of lost income. STD benefits can be used for conditions like back injuries, maternity leave, mental health disorders, and chronic illnesses. The application process often requires medical documentation and a certification from a healthcare provider to confirm the need for leave. Short-term disability ensures employees can take the necessary time off to recover while maintaining financial stability, providing peace of mind during a challenging time.

ADA Service

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ensures that employees with disabilities are protected in the workplace and guarantees equal opportunities. It requires employers to provide reasonable accommodations to help employees perform their duties, such as modifying work environments, offering flexible schedules, or providing assistive devices. Employers must also make their workplaces accessible and keep information about an employee’s disability confidential. The ADA fosters an inclusive work environment, allowing employees with disabilities to contribute fully and thrive in their roles.
